Laura Feldman, Esquire, is a Pennsylvania attorney with significant experience with medical malpractice, pharmaceutical, mass tort, and other personal injury cases, many of which involve wrongful death and survival actions. Her extensive knowledge and more than 25 years of trial experience result in regular referrals from other firms and engagements as local and liaison counsel by law firms around the country. She has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for her clients. Attorney Feldman has been awarded the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers’ Association President’s Award and she has been recognized as one of the nations Best Lawyers since 2006.
As an Of Counsel to Heiligman & Mogul, P.C.’s, Estate Probate and Personal Injury Attorneys, Ms. Feldman works closely with the firm as lead counsel and in an advisory capacity in certain personal injury and estate probate matters, providing valuable assistance with regard to wrongful death and survival actions brought by personal representatives of deceased persons’ estates.
Community Involvement
Laura has made community involvement an important part of her work since the beginning of her law practice. She has devoted a great deal of time to advocating for equal access to the courts. As the 2008 Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Public Interest Section, she fought for the legal rights of people who so often lack advocates to speak on their behalf, including minorities, victims of abuse, the poor, and the homeless.
Laura is frequently invited to lecture at legal seminars. She has taught courses in practicing attorney trial advocacy at Temple University’s Academy of Trial Advocacy and has served on the Boards of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, and the Syracuse University Board of Visitors. She also serves as a Board Officer of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers’ Association and is a Judge Pro Tem and an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
